cluster groups

Thank you for your interest in Cluster Groups at the Vine!

Cluster Groups are the primary means of adult discipleship at The Vine.  They take place during the week, and they replenish the discipleship element of Christian life that Sunday Schools sought to meet when they began in the 1800’s.  The small group model of cluster groups reaches much farther back in Christian history, to the model of Jesus investing his life in 12 men.

The Winter/Spring season of cluster groups at The Vine will begin in the first week in February and run into May.

Cluster Groups at The Vine are designed to grow organically, mimicking the way God designed biological life.  That’s why Cluster Groups are designed to multiply after reaching a critical mass of 12 – 15 active adults. That’s also why some churches call this type of a small group a “cell” group.

Married and Single persons are welcome at all groups.  Groups are organized by location, day, and subject as indicated on the chart. (Please see attached.) Childcare is provided at all groups meeting at The Vine. Groups meeting in homes have childcare arranged by the leader/host.

During the five Sundays in January there will be sign-up sheets available in the welcome area for the new cluster group season, which will begin the first week of February.  Information about each group (subject of study, location, day, time & instructor) will be available on those sheets.  We encourage you to sign up in January for the new season! If you have not taken Financial Peace University, we encourage you to consider taking that course, as we are currently in a season of emphasizing that “Stewardship is Discipleship.”
