cluster group pastor
Frank Decker has a passion for
discipleship. He has been involved in foreign missions full time for
over 20 years and has been delighted to observe how God is using small
groups as the best context for Christian growth around the world.
He
and his wife Vicki have served as missionaries in Ghana, West Africa
and also in pastoral ministry in Virginia. Frank works with The Mission
Society in Norcross, Georgia, enabling ministries in 30 countries. The
Deckers have 3 children (Emily - 22, Jake - 18, and Kaitlin - 13).
Birthplace: I was born in the USA but not in a state. (Washington DC)
Favorite Day/Experience: Meeting other believers in the context of their own culture
When I'm not at church or with my family... I am usually looking forward to it.
Favorite Quote: "We see things not as they are, but as we are."
Famous person I'd most like to meet: Bob Dylan
Playing on my ipod: I really do prefer songs written by persons
who are honestly searching for God, rather than those who assume they
have Him all figured out.
Life Verse: I Peter 3:15 is as good as any (I don't really have a "life verse" for all time.)
